Week 1 Term 3 Cybersmart

My week 9 cybersmart

Hello my name is Lyric and I am in room 8 at Wesley Intermediate School.

Today we did cybersmart and today for cybersmart we were looking at other peoples blog profiles.

But first we had to choose between looking at Joseph parker's Blog or Valerie Adam's blog.

I chose Joseph Parker and we learnt some things about him like

when he was born and where he was born.

Then we had to chose another student's blog to see what their blog profiles says. 

The one that I chose was a boy named Alex from Panmure Bridge School.

After I had to write my own blog profile and this is the slide:

Lyric's Smart Footprint Blogging

Hello my name is Lyric and I go to Wesley Intermediate School and today I did cybersmart. For cybersmart we had to make a infographics which is like a poster for what to share and what not to share. as you can see on my on my infographic there are some things that you could do or put on your blog. I enjoyed making this blog post nice and simple and colourful. My next steps are to leave more and more coments on other peoples blogs.

Hello my name is Lyric today I have been learning about what you should keep private and what you should keep public.

As you can see at the bottom of my writing there is a poster about what you should keep private and public.

So before I made the poster I had a choice of what to do so the choices were you could make a video, pick a path 

Or a poster.

So I picked a poster because it was easyer and faster.

My Lockdown Blog Post

Hello my name is Lyric and I am Blogging about 

Lockdown and the people that I was staying with in my bubble.

The people that were in my bubble for lockdown was 

my little brother my Mum & my Dad.

On the first day of lockdown I was so happy and I was playing outside with my little brother and watching movies also.

I was sleeping most of the time. 

Then we had to make our own dinner but then after a while I was getting sick of our cooking and I was missing Maccas.

When it was starting to get to the end of lockdown I started to feel happy again.

Then when the malls opened we went to the mall. 

But when we were there there was nothing to do most of the shops were closed.

So we went back home to watch more movies the movie that I watched was Sonic The Hedgehog.

Here is my writing about the picture on the top.

Sandman Story

One day in the middle of the hot Sahara Desert It was 30 C.

There was an old wrinkly man sitting in a forest green metal rusty boat 

wearing a Green Suit and some blue trucks with some light green apples the colour of grass

in the middle. He was surrounded by old dead trees that still had some nice fresh green

apples 

The trees were shaped the claws that you could use as Halloween decorations they looked

like a witch's hand.

The old man had a long white/Gray beard but it wasn't white for long because the wind was

blowing the wavy sand on to his beard & then it turn yellow.

Maori Language Week

Hey Guys,

This Is my writing about Maori Language Week Hope You Enjoy

Last Week it was Maori Language Week

each class did a performance for Maori language week.

My class was doing Maori games the games that we did were Pukana, Poi Raku, He Tama Tu Tama & The Maori counting game.

We performed between the other class's so first was Room 2 then it was us then it went Room 3 then it was us (ect)

It was very cool to see every body else's performance's.

The one that I think that was the best was Room 4.

Then each house performed a Haka in front of the school.

The house that won it was Marlborough their Haka was so good all of their face's looked scary & they looked so cereus.

& then the whole school did one big Haka together & John Henry was leading it.

Kindness is never wasted.

On Friday the 16th of August we read a little story about a Lion and a Mouse.

We were talking about the moral of the story and we learned about the Lion and the mouse were being nice to each other, because we never know what other people are going through and being nice to them make there day.

  

ToolKit Trip

On Tuesday 28th me & 9 other people went to Hay Park School. there was about 8 including our school.
There was 3 sessions and for my first session me and Mia did scratch coding.

In the begging of the session the presenters showed us how to make and use the sounds on scratch.

and they also showed us how to record like record us talking.

Then after session 1 we had morning tea.

Then after morning tea we had to go to session 2.
For session 2 I was in room 8 and I did Kahoot it was me and Mia again we were both in Kahoot.

The kahoot questions were about all of the schools that were there and about Hay Park School.

Some of the questions were hard and some of them were very easy.

Then its was session 3.

For session 3 me and Mia were in the same group again.

In this session we did scratch for beginners.

The people that were taking the session they were only year 4’s.

At the beginning they showed us how to move things and we were just playing with the sounds.

I had heaps of fun hopefully when this chance
comes again hopefully some more kids can go and try it out.
